PSA: locking down (partly)

The 6A/LJ drama has reached no real conclusion other than LJ clarifying the fact that we can get in trouble for linked content and locked content alike--which leaves me with a fair numer of doubts as what I'm going to do with my fics. If I'm going to get in trouble for them either way...

Then I remembered that I abhor people who write fics, post to communities, and link back to a locked journal or entry. It is one of my biggest pet peeves ever. So I decided I'm not going to lock my writings (it'd take too damned long, anyway, and insert-something-here-about-my-writing-morals-with-a-link-to-better-prepared-essays).

I am, however, going to lock my NC-17 stuff, on principle. Membership is open now, so you can join if you want, as the posting's still restricted to only me. :D This is absolutely not necessary, of course; you can remain a watcher and just not read the smuttier fics. (There aren't that many of them anyway--predominantly Ouran and a few FujiRyo.) One of these days I'll get around to making an off-LJ site to host all my writings, with fewer age-restriction worries. I hope.
