“Hmm?”
“Is that what I think it is?”
“Saa, that depends on what you think it is…”
“Tell me that’s not what I think it is.”
“Like I said, Ryoma, it depends on what you think it is.”
“Syuusuke.””
An amused smile. “You’re so cute when you’re annoyed.”
“Syuusuke.” A glare.
“Maa, maa. Fine. It’s not what you think it is.”
“You’re lying to me, aren’t you.”
“I’m just telling you what you want to hear.”
“You’re so frustrating.”
“I try.”
“I know. I wish you’d try a little less.” An irritated look.
“But then you wouldn’t love me half as much, ne, Ryoma?”
“What makes you think I love you now?”
“Well, there’s this ‘dating’ thing. Otherwise known as you extorting money out of a far-too-kind senpai. And this kissing thing…” A kiss, to demonstrate.
“Mmm…”
“You’re far too addicting.” A whisper against lips.
“Mmm… But that doesn’t mean it’s love.”
“You tolerate me when I’m frustrating. Ne?”
“…you’re right. No one else would do it.” A smirk.
“Saa.”
“Hey! What’re you doing!”
“Resuming the physical aspect of this relationship. Since you’re so tolerant and all. I’m sure you understand, right, Ryoma?” Innocent smile.
“What is that? I told you it better not be what I think it is!”
“And I told you—“
“Syuusuke!”
“Well then, what do you think it is?”
“…Ponta-flavored lube.”
“Correct! Ryoma-kun is so observant.” A pleased look.
Flatly: “…no way in hell we’re using that.”
“Why not?”
“Because.”
“Saa, it seems reasonable to me. Lube is a necessity, after all, and you’re fond of Ponta, aren’t you? What with the excessive amounts you drink, which really can’t be healthy. Does Inui know about this? I’m sure he does, he’s Inui after all, but it certainly shouldn’t be part of your training diet…”
Slightly horrified look. “We will not be talking about Inui-senpai while you’re holding that in your hand.”
A pause, then purred: “Ryoma?”
“…what.”
“Do you think I could change your mind?”
“No.”
“Do you think I could try…?” Soft, warm breath ghosting along skin. Seeking fingers.
“Oh. A-ah—that’s cheating, Syuusuke!”
“And I know you love me because you let me.” A warm smile and then a kiss.
