Apparently I just want to write all the tropefic for MakoHaru. This one has a minor twist! Unfortunately, less UST. But on the other hand, it has copious amounts of Gou and I love Gou.

Flimsy, as an Excuse

Kou had a plan to get her brother off her back about her love life and it involved pretending to date Makoto. Haruka was, apparently, not okay with that.

“So let me see if I have this right,” he said slowly, leaning back against the lockers where she’d cornered him after swim club practice. “You want me to pretend to be your boyfriend so the Samezuka swim captain will leave you alone and then Rin will stop harassing him and back out of your love life?”
