This is entirely the fault of
mienai2401 and
0sweet_tart0, who ought to be ashamed for encouraging me to write this when I should've been packing. As such, this is also dedicated to them.
KAT-TUN/D-Boyscrack utterly realistic fic omake of doom! (Few of you will know of what I write and that is okay. For those of you who don't, see the Notes, and for those of you who do: pimp accordingly. ;D I am going to finish packing for real now.)

“What’s that?” asked Jin, pausing on his way through the living room, soda in one and a bag of shrimp-flavored chips in the other. Kame exited the kitchen and came to a stop behind him.
Reo lifted the remote and paused the DVD. Various boys in blue-and-white uniforms froze on the wide-screen TV, mid-dance. He tilted his head back lazily and gave his older brother a look as if ridiculing his stupidity. “Tenimyu,” he said flatly.
Jin blinked. “Tenimyu?” he echoed, tasting the word. It sounded familiar.
“Prince of Tennis musical? Dream Live 3rd? Shirota-senpai? Ring any bells yet, ‘niisan?”
“Oh!” Jin exclaimed. “Shirotan’s in it! Yeah, yeah, I remember. Hey Kame, come watch. It’s a musical about these boys playing tennis, only not really because there are no balls, just rackets, and lots of singing—there’s no singing in real tennis, of course—” He had rounded the end of the couch by the end of his spiel and he proceeded to flop down and kick Reo to press play.
Kame settled down beside him, sipping at his soda. “I’ve heard of it,” he said. “I think Keita’s a big fan.”
“Who?” asked Jin, not really paying attention. He was watching the screen avidly, looking both delighted and amused. “Heh, heh, look—there’s Shirotan. He looks so serious. Hey, Reo, you gonna be doing this now that you’re in the D-Boys?”
Reo shrugged. “Maybe. The entire second Seigaku cast is composed of D-Boys.”
“For serious?”
“Mmhmm.”
“I like Hyoutei better,” said Kame, leaning back into the couch and crossing his legs. He tapped his fingers idly against his soda can.
Two pairs of eyes turned to him.
“What?’ He looked defensive. “Their captain is hotter.”
Reo snickered. “Katou?”
“Is this the Katou Shirotan’s always whining about?” Jin wanted to know. He popped a few chips into his mouth and chewed loudly, eyes returning to the screen without waiting for an answer. “Hey, that looks kind of fun. Think we could do something like that?” Before Kame could answer, Jin’s eyes widened and he abruptly choked on a chip.
Kame slapped him across the back. “Hey,” he said as Jin coughed violently. “You okay?”
“Stop, stop it!” Jin shouted at Reo. The screen froze again. “Go back,” he ordered and then yelped again when Reo complied and a familiar face appeared on screen, mouth half-open in mid-song.
“What’s wrong with you?” Reo demanded, staring at him as if were insane.
“I know him!” Jin shouted in triumph, pointing at the TV. “He’s that guy with the eyeliner—oh my god, look, it’s still there—that I saw that once! You know, that day.”
Kame blinked at him. “…yes?” he ventured warily. “That’s nice, Jin.” His brows were drawn in clear perplexity.
“I saw him on my way to your house the day I kissed you,” Jin explained once he’d calmed down and regained his breath. Reo made a face because there were some things he didn’t want to know about his brother. “And I knew he had to be in show business. So, hah! I win.”
“Congrats,” said Reo dryly. “I know him, too. That’s Aiba-senpai. He plays Fuji Syuusuke.”
Kame brightened. “I like Fuji.”
Reo looked pleased. “He’s my favorite character. He’s so evil and manipulative.”
“Do you like Mizuki, then?” Kame asked curiously.
“Not so much as a character. Fuji owned him. His musical actor was cool, though: Shiozawa.”
“I haven’t seen him before. You’ll have to show me sometime.”
“Sure. Shirota-senpai gave me all the Tenimyu DVDs. Whenever you have time, we can watch them. If you want.”
Jin pouted as Kame agreed, grinning. “Augh,” he said in frustration, waving his hands around in the air. “You two. What is this? Stop ignoring me!”
“Oh, stop whining, ‘niisan,” said Reo. “I’ll get Shirota-senpai to introduce you to Aiba-senpai or something. He can finally introduce you to Katou Kazuki, too, and you’ll meet the one person in this world who can out-sex you.”
Jin looked scandalized. “That’s a lie! Take it back! There’s no one on this earth who can out-sex me!”
“I’m inclined to disagree,” said Kame, lounging against the couch comfortably, one arm slung along the back. He winked at Reo and added, “There’s one person who can out-sex you any day, Jin.”
“Are you saying you think this Katou guy his hotter than I am?”
Kame shook his head, smirking. He pointed at himself. ‘Me,” he said and then started laughing when Jin threw a couch pillow at him, outraged.

Notes: Jin's little brother Reo recently joined the D-Boys. Jin is friends with Shirota Yuu of the D-Boys, who plays Tezuka in the second generation of Prince of Tennis musicals (i.e., Tenimyu). Aiba Hiroki plays Fuji. Katou Kazuki plays Atobe. Randomly, Kame is friends with Tachibana Keita of w-inds. Just thought I'd throw that out there. ♥
